finding out what works for you because you have to be happy with the way you eat and work out etc…. cause if you aren’t happy you won’t stick with it.

Personally, I love fruits more than veggies so I eat more fruit, when I eat veggies I go with the few I like such as mushrooms and broccoli and a good green salad. I don’t try to force myself to eat other ones just because they are considered healthy, I hate peas and I hate beans so I’m not touching them.

I prefer to walk as a means of exercise, when I can’t swim. I hate doing aerobics so I’m not forcing myself to do something I am not happy doing. Give me my Ipod and they open road and I’m off and walking.

My drug of choice is CHIPS, but chips are not healthy. So I munch on whole grain Kashi crackers.

And drink tons of water.

A healthy outlook, the ability to laugh especially at yourself, a healthy diet and exercise, limit excesses that are bad for you but don’t give them up completely because then what would be the sense of living long and healthy if your not allowed to enjoy it!

Walking by the Spirit will produce transformation, a metabolic change in our being. Such a change is not the product of outward correction or adjustment. If you deliberately try to behave as child of God, you will act in a religious way. You may think to yourself, “I must maintain my status as a child of God. This means that I should not argue with my spouse.” This is religious. Our need is to live by the Spirit and then walk by the Spirit. This is not a matter of outward adjustment, but of inward, metabolic transformation. Furthermore, this has nothing to do with religion, for it is altogether a matter of an organic change in our being. When we live by the Spirit and walk by the Spirit, God is spontaneously lived out of us and is expressed through us. Then, in reality and practicality, we are sons of God living by God’s life and walking by this life.

Moment by moment, we need to breathe the divine life into us. Then, instead of acting in ourselves and walking by the flesh, we shall do everything by the Spirit whom we receive by breathing. Our need today is to practice receiving the Spirit and walking by the Spirit. This is not religion or ethics. This is the experience of the living Spirit.

Just a few thoughts:

Read the ingredients on the packaged food that you buy.
You may be surprised at what you are actually eating.

Understand what the term “organic foods” means. Some labels are misleading.

Genetic Engineering means someone has decided to tamper with the food supply. There is no law that says the consumer needs to be told that the food has been altered.

“You are what you eat” has been a quote that has been around for a long time.

Ben Franklin said it best, “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise. Be asleep by ten and up at dawn and you’ll begin to discover just how good you can feel.

Be in tune with Nature’s clock–ie eat your biggest meal at noon when digestion is maximum, sleep when it is time to sleep, and have a light meal in the evening so you have a restful sleep.

Finally, drink enough water. Penta bottled is the best.

    Don’t eat junk food and not to eat food that has lot of fat.
    Eat vegetables and fruits they are healthy and you have to exercise every day like runing,biking,walking fast,skipping,and jogging.
