I am quite glad I took the time to read your page. Fascinating how the internet can move you around and assist you to learn so effortlessly. Thanks for the good insight. I

I had a american pit-bull terrier and i gave it human food. Whatever he wanted i gave it to him he lived till he was 14 so i don't think it did him bad. He lived a good life. Unless Pitbulls have long life-span than im wrong but 14 yrs aint bad..

I personally have 2 pitbulls. Well 1 is lab/ pit mix. But I feed them Lifespan by petguard, or canidae. I switch it up just so its not constantly the same thing. I also place a scoop of nu-pro dog supplement on their food each time they eat. 1 is almost a year old and my pup is 15 weeks and solid as a rock already.

You should consider feeding your APBT a raw diet. My neighbor feeds her APBT Embark Dog Food. It is a dehydrated, raw food that is made from USDA turkey, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, spinach, carrots, coconut, apples, organic kelp, eggs, sesame seeds, bananas, cranberries and rosemary.
Here's where she buys it: http://www.petwellbeing.com/embark-dog-f…
Embark contains no by-products, extra salts or sugars, artificial colors or flavors, and no chemical preservatives. Other common ingredients in commercial kibble dog food that are NOT in Embark include beet pulp, rice, wheat, corn or soy. The reason for the absence of these 'other' ingredients is that they are considered to be common allergens for dogs. They can cause problems like dry or itchy skin, lack of energy, ear problems and even hair loss.
