What Is Good, Healthy Food To Bring To A School Dance?

I’m my student council for school. Tomorrow we’re having a retro themed dance. I’m in the food committee. So I need some easy, healthy food things to bring that are cheap. I know I’m gonna bring Kool-Aid, but I need like 2 food things to bring. Any ideas?

A:   It’s not retro at all (don’t know if your food needs to be), but buy/make some hummus and pita bread! Cut the pita into strips and then they can be dipped into the hummus. Maybe take some tortilla chips too?
I dunno, I don’t eat typical junk foods.

A:   Make a fruit tray. This could be kept inexpensive. Most all stores run some sort of specials each week on produce. They also sell ready made fruit dips or plain vanilla yogurt works too. Stuff celery with peanut butter. If you line raisins up on the peanut butter they call it “ants on a log”. Pretty corny but cute. It is like a 1950’s thing. Popcorn is good cheap and healthy until you drown it in salt and butter. Hope that helped. Have fun at your dance.

    An old fleece blanket may be used as a motor vehicle blanket. Maintain the existing fleece blanket in your own automobile and if a disastrous situation arises wherever you might demand it you can use it. Hopefully you won’t have a need for that fleece blanket and it’ll simply take up space in your car.
