What Healthy Food Can I Send To Daycare For My 13 Month Old To Eat For Lunch?

My daughter is 13 months old and has been eating lunch meat, cheese and veggies for lunch at daycare. Recently, she has become bored with her lunches. What can I send (finger food – she likes to feed herself) that is healthy for her? The Graduate meals are expensive and I’d rather she ate non-processed foods. Any suggestions?

    Peel and seperate some clementines for her and put them in a small plastic bag that the daycare provider can open for her at lunchtime. Look at some of your more healthful cereal bars with the fruit inside. Sorry thats all I can think of right now.

    THEY HAVE TO FRUIT BARS THAT ARE GOOD. WHAT ABOUT BABY CARROTS? HSHE CAN EAT THAT. OR TRY MAYBE SOME GOLD FISH OR ANIMAL CRACKERS. THOSE ARENT TOO BAD. OR SOME PLAIN CHERRIOS. YOU CAN GET THE CHEAP BRAND (JUST THE SAME) MAYBE CUT SOME CELERY FOR HER? MAYBE LOOK AT SOME ALTERNATIVE CEREALS THAT ARENT FULL OF SUGAR. CRACKERS ARE GOOD ALSO

    1. What about Go-gurt you know the yogurt that comes in a tube (like a POP ICE) and she just squeezes it up to eat it.
    2. Raisins or other dried fruit or trail mix type snack.
    3. A banana is always a good choice for the little ones who like to feed themselves.
    4. Fruit Roll ups are also a good healthy choice.
