Could you forgive the driver’s behaviour of refusing to take passangers?

I think it is not forgiven for the dirver’s behavior of refusing to take passangers.I’ll give the reason form two aspect.
First,passengers usually take the texi for saving time or convenience.If all the driver just like the one in the example,the passengers can’t take any texi that they did’t do things all the day.
Second,driving texi is a job of service.As we know, the customer is the god.Besides profit also has empressment.

From this story,firstly,I should criticize the driver is a nut,and immorality.
And he is indeed selfish,but stand at his point,I think he could not understand.
On the other hand shows,all of people is selfish,I think he is just benifit for himself.
But if i was a driver,I will drive them.
I don’t know which side I should stand! I think his purnishment was too heavy.
so I might as well keep the fence-sitter.
