<p><i>Answer by Jamie</i><br/>You can, I mean they do contain calories, right? To gain a pound you must not burn 3500 calories, to lose a pound you must burn 3500 calories. Pretty simple huh?</p>
<p><i>Answer by Jerry H</i><br/>Yes, you can.  If you take in more calories than you burn, you will gain weight, no matter where the calories are coming from.  Fruits and vegetables tend to be relatively low in calories by volume, so you have to eat a lot of them to get the same calories you&#8217;d get from a candy bar, but it can be done, especially if you don&#8217;t exercise.</p>

Fruits are usually very sugary and although they are good for you, stick to the two serves recommended per day.<br />
Vegetables can be high in carbohydrate (corn, pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot, etc etc) and in large quantities can cause to becomming over weight. Stick to the 3 serves we are supposed to have a day.<br />
You can have a little more but be aware of only eating as much as your body needs and of the right things.<br />

<p><i>Answer by mrfroo</i><br/>Your stomach is adjusting to your new diet &#8211; especially if you cut portions &#8211; just be sure to eat a little bit of fat &#8211; your body needs it to absorb and convert vitamins.</p>

There are ways to avoid it. Just make the change more gradual, introducing new foods slowly, and only one or two at a time. Wait a few days, then try something else. Be careful when introducing high/er fiber foods as they can cause gas if your not used to them.<br />
Its like I tell my children. When the plum trees come ripe, start with just one plum a day for a week, then 2 for a few days, then 3-5 max a day. That helps them avoid tummy upsets from a new food (for the season). Otherwise they get stomach aches and/or diarrhea. Its not that there&#8217;s anything wrong with the fruit, its just that the system isn&#8217;t used to handling it.</p>

The New Jersey State Library supported the American Heart Association’s Third Annual Start Eating Healthy Day on Nov. 2 by providing apple cider and a choice of a variety of apples to employees as a mid-morning snack. Apples were also distributed at the Talking Book &amp; Braille Center in mid-afternoon. The national day-long event was aimed at raising public awareness about the importance of making healthy food choices and to encourage everyone to incorporate healthier foods into their daily diet. Healthy Eating Day at the State Library was sponsored by the library’s Recreation Committee.</p>

<p>The human is a very complicated creature, how many of those who want to discover the best healthy weight loss diet already know that the problem is that they burn calories less than what they should be burning I relation to what they consume? I think that there are many people who know that but how many of them who already apply this to his/her lifestyle.</p>

Well this dish called, &quot;Chicken with Fruit Salsa&quot; was soooooooo spicey my mouth was on fire, lol.  What a pretty dish but I had to push the salsa off of the chicken in order to eat it.  Salsa was made up of fresh pineapple, chile peppers in adobo sauce, scallions, honey, lime juice and lime zest.  I won&#8217;t be making anymore dishes with chile peppers.</p>
