Hi,I did the following:
Q&A: So how did you make out on Black Friday?

We did great but spent WAY too much money! I got pretty much everything on my list (and a few that weren’t) except for the playhouse at Toys R Us. My husband was pretty happy that he got a new TV, even though it wasn’t on the list but whatever makes him happy

We went shopping from midnight to noon and boy was I exhausted! But everything was great. We went to a different area than where we live and the stores weren’t bad at all, even the Walmart!!

I didn’t go (as Im 37 weeks pregnant) but alot of my friends did & most of them got everything on their lists also! =) The lines were long but they told me that people weren’t nearly as rude as the years before. Congrats on getting everything that you wanted =)

I didn’t have much luck this year. Seems like the stores only had just a few of every item I was after and they were out by the time I got there.

And my uncle’s 2 boys decided they were going with us… which meant 7 people in a 7 passenger SUV… and I got stuck in the very back seat, even though I offered to drive too.

But it was still fun!

I vowed to stay away from shopping on friday and took my daughter to the zoo instead, we had a blast I am pretty much done christmas shopping already though, just my brother left on my list.

I don’t do well in crowds of morons.

You are a lot braver than I! We were out of town and relaxed at the hotel pool all day.

I am doing my shopping online today. Hope I get some deals!

I’m not a Black Friday shopper, but my mom actually went this year (I believe it was her first time!). She had to work, but she was out at Walmart before 5am and got everything she went for. She said she was pleasantly surprised, it wasn’t all crazy like she thought it may be. And she also said the people, both employees and other customers, were very friendly. She even came across other items that she hadn’t thought of, so she got more than she planned on, but it’s stuff she would’ve gotten later anyway. The most tiring part she said was the waiting in the checkout line.
