Q&A: Looking for a good healthy cook book?

I am trying to eat healthy and looking for a cook book full of healthy recipes.

My current eating style isn’t good. I usually drink diet coke 2-3 times a day, eat fast food once or twice a day and sometimes i over eat.

I am a 24 male, 5’6 and weigh 178. For some reason my weight doesn’t really show, i guess i hide it well hehe.

I’ll value anyone input, thanks.

Check out Ellie Krieger she’s on Food Network. You can get a lot of recipes online. Also, any cookbook that you are cooking from is going to be healthier than what you are eating now. Taking out cooking in olive oil instead of saturated fat is going to make an immediate change.

First, get off the diet coke. Artificial sweeteners are very hazardous to your health and some actually contribute to obesity. If you eat delicious, nutritious food your body will get what it needs and you won’t get cravings for lousy food. Have a dark green leafy salad (like arugula with red onion, tomatoes, red bell pepper) with fresh squeezed lime juice and hemp oil. Good fats such as those found in hemp, red palm, and unhydrogented coconut are essential for the health of your immune system, skin, brain, hormones, and eyes. Stay away from white flour and white rice, and all other processed foods. Take your lunch with you when you go to work. There are many healthy recipes on the web:

Eat as many uncooked vegetables as possible, chew your food until it is a liquid before you swallow, have a couple of glasses of water an hour after you eat.
