Not A Salad Person/healthy Food/snack Options?

I want to start eating healthier to aid in my weight loss while I exercise. However, I am not a salad person. Neither am I the kind of person who eats “diet special” foods. I believe wholesome foods are healthy in the right proportions. Do you have any recipes, snack ideas, stories or meals that incorporate a lot of veggies, fiber, fruits and are healthy? I do not eat junk food, I am not a big salad person and I rarely, if ever have fast food. I just don’t know what else to do!

A:

you can get some of your favorite veggies and mix them together in a pot, add some cooked ground beef, and some beef bulion for flavor. It makes like a vegetable beef soup. If you season it right its really good.
I also like to get lean cuisean meals, some are really good. Or you could get some pita bread, and make sandwiches. Pita bread is less fattening than loaf bread.
I also get fuits like my favorite is strawberries and bannana. but i freeze the strawberries and then put some in a blender, add a banana, add some low-fat vanilla yogut, milk, and splenda, and it makes a really good smoothie. ill have that for lunch on a hot day or something.
And of course baked food is better than fried food. And cutting back the amount you eat is good too, and will help you lose weight.

For lunch in school I usually eat South Beach Diet subs. They come like lunchables, except they are a lot healthier and are soooo much better. They also have wraps and stuff.
Hope I helped. =)
