Just got 2 new angel fish and they were happy together in the shop but now home they are fighting?

Question: Just got 2 new angel fish and they were happy together in the shop but now home they are fighting?

Have 2 other angels the new ones are fighting with them too have we got to many in the tank together?

It’s hard to answer your question without knowing more about your tank. What size tank are these fish in. What type of “Angels” are they? Some of them can be very territorial.

when putting fish into a new tank, it can take some time for them to get settled. Or, it’s a territory thing.

I have been keeping fish ever since I was a child and feel I can answer this one well. It’s most likely that these two while in the pet store had established their own territories and managed to get along. Once you brought them home, not only did they have to re-estabish new territories for themselves, but they had to deal with two other angels that had already set up their own territories. It’s likey that they will all settle down once they have estabished new boundaries that they are all satisfied with.

Get 8 goldfish or any other type of junk fish for your tank asap, they might try to eat them, but they will forget about the territorial issues when they are outnumbered…

You can always flush them down the toilet at a later time or getting drunk friends to eat them on a dare….
