Hm…. I don’t think you have a shopping addiction. I think I do. I spent ,000 on back to school clothes last year. (My dad gave me the money lol)
- I’m to young to work (by a few years or so). Sorry to disappoint you.

Dont worry i know exactly how you feel
so im not judging you in any way! I went through a period when i overspent WAY too much on similar stores, such as MAC which is really addictive.
The following things helped me:
1) Take a step back, and actually look at all the lovely things you have bought yourself. Use them, wear them and enjoy them instead of thinking about what more you can buy. MAC is a prime example of a store were you want EVERYTHING in a selection of colours…but you can sometimes satisfy the need to buy more by organising your current collection and USING what you have.
2) Only allow yourself to go shopping once a week, that way you can still spend money and enjoy shopping but there will be less of an opportunity to buy things.
3) Take a step back and realise what you are saying. There are more important things in life like Wold peace, poverty and all that kind of thing that should go first.
4) Go to the mall, and instead of buying things, make a LIST of all the things you want to buy..or spotted that you wanted to buy on that trip. Take the list home and dont look at it for a few days or a few weeks. THEN look at the list. Half of the items on the list are probably a complete load of rubbush that you DONT need, and will seem more stupid on paper infront of you than they did in the store.
GOOD LUCK
you CAN do it!!!

Mind over matter…stay away from the malls for a while…take at least half of the money you make from work and put it into a special account for the car and then spend the other haf on necessities…This way you won’t feel deprived if you do decide to go to the mall and pick up a few things…Just don’t touch your special account…Good Luck!…

Don’t feel bad hon, it’s true, at least you are using your own money, not your parents
I know how you feel, you buy loads of clothes but you just feel as if you don’t have enough, right? This is what you have to do:
1) Sort your clothes into 3 piles: a pile of clothes that you want to keep, a pile of clothes you don’t like and don’t want to keep and a pile of clothes that have faults with them
2) Give piles 2 and 3 to charity (but if the clothes have MAJOR faults with them, recycle them)
3) Follow this list of what you need: http://www.collegefashion.net/fashion-tips/wardrobe-essentials-for-college-girls/
I know it says College Fashion but it’s also for the “real world” too ![]()
4) If you have clothes remaining, only keep the ones you love and give the rest to charity or a sibling/friend or you can even sell them!
5) Watch confessions of a shopaholic
6) Resist the urge to shop
7) Congrats, you have succeeded!
Well, it worked for me
PS: Make sure you stick to the wardrobe essentials link I gave you, it’s so freakishly accurate!
