I Give My One Year Old Dog Beneful Is It A Healthy Food For My Dog She Is A Maltipoo.?

She doesn’t like dry food. I try mix it in with her wet food but she’ll move the dry food aside and it only the wet food. What should i do.

A:                 If you are going to use garden variety grocery store dog food then it’s as good as any and better than some

A:                That is really really bad food. I was feeding it as well before I discovered the wonders of dog food lol. There are many brands out there that cost about the same as a bag of Beneful but they are a whole lot better for your dog.

I have to get all of my food online except the Wellness because a local feed store started carrying it for me.

A:               Well Beneful is really not a good food. Try something that is healthier such as Canidae, (it’s pretty affordable and your dog will probably like it better–more meat less junk). Beneful is full of fillers…like corn….so there really aren’t many nutrients.
There are many other high quality food besides Canidae such as Innova, Orijen, Wellness Core, etc.

Beneful is not as healthy as you would think based on their advertising. Better foods are Iams, Nutro, or (what I feed the 3 household dogs here) Science Diet. Out of brands you can buy at a grocery store, I would recommend Pro-Plan. It’s a bit more costly, but worth it.
Look for the AAFCO seal or statement of approval on the package. If it’s there, then the food has been analyzed and approved by the AAFCO to meet nutritional and quality standards as a dog food.

A:                 Beneful is a horrible food. Look at the ingredients. It is up there with the worst foods to feed.
Try Innova, Wellness, Canidae, Merricks, Solid Gold. Along with the dry these brands also sell wet food. Give them seperately to not allow your dog to be so pick. They will eat what is given to them when they are hungry. Get away from Beneful, dogs become less healthy, overweight and have liver and kidney problems because of the amounts of corn and sugar in these foods.

    I have two Multipoo’s and they are my babies. I will only feed them Blue Buffalo dog food. It is the best… My one dog is 14 years old and my other is 1 1/2 years old. I only give then treats from The USA. And only natural and I read all the bags … I use baby shampoo natural only. Toys only in the USA..
