How To Cook Healthy Baby Food?

My son now is 6 month old. I used to make rice porridge + carrot or spinach for him everyday. But sometimes he just refuse to eat even I cook different food everyday. Any tips? At first I thought my son need soft food then I blend his food but he still refuse to eat.

if flavours are too intense, or textures too rough then baby wont even entertain them
its gentle subtle changes that he will like..
babies dont get bored of flavours, they need to get used to them, also with texture
just vary things slightly,spinach is way too strong i think.. try a soft mush of all very softly cooked veg, carrot broc cauli(but not too much) dont add salt either..its not needed..

Baby’s tend to love sweet potato, so try mashing sweet potatoe with babys formula or breast milk depending on what you are using.
For my little one i use to combine carrots, pumpkin, potato and sweet poato mashed and he loved it. Try introducing things slowly bit by bit. If he refuses to eat just keep trying and make sure you get him at a time where he is really hungry so that he wants to eat.

I used to watch my mother make baby food for my siblings when I was younger. She would usually place vegetables and such in a food processor and place the food into little containers and freeze them. When she wanted to use them, she would microwave them for a few minutes. You can search some sites if you want a particular recipe for the foods your baby likes. I think you have to experiment a bit. At 6 months my son refused to eat mashed up food so I just gave him what we had, he seemed to enjoy the lumps and crunchy textures, I never blended anything again.
