Q&A: Do you prefer Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas?

When shopping, do you prefer to be told Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas. Has anyone else noticed that Christmas has been pushed to the side in recent years, and that you almost feel guilty for saying it?

I prefer Merry Christmas personally, it always makes me think of my childhood and happy memories with my family =)

I prefer happy holidays because I am jewish. I dont expect people to wish me happy chanukah, but merry christmas kinda offends me because they assume that I am christian
