Are There Any Fast Food Chains That Offer Healthy Food, Besides Subway?
I’m not just talking about salads. I want to know if there are any real, wholesome, healthy entrées out there in the fast food world.
A: McDonald’s brought out a new healthy menu.
It consists of…
[x] Triple Quarter Pounder
[x] SuperSize Fries
[x] SuperSize Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite
And to think you can have that delicious, yet healthy food in under 30 seconds. Wow!
Seriously, you won’t get any healthy food fast. If you like that type of food, great! You’ll just have to wait a little longer at some place nicer looking than the dining room of McDonald’s!
A: Many of the ones who have salads are very good. You just have to skip the dressings and some “add ons”. I like the Wendy’s mandarin chicken salad — and Arby’s chicken “something” — it has grapes in it. Really good. I ruined my diet for years, thinking every sandwich had to have accompanying french fries. I thought that was just a necessity — and it’s not. Even a dressed hamburger can be healthy if it’s broiled and you toss either the top half or bottom half of the bun — and the whole bun is not even that big of a deal, if you don’t have it slathered in sauces. They will prepare one without sauce. They don’t like it, as it slows them down, but they will. Sauces/dressings are the unhealthy part. And NO “fries with that”.
A: I personally have a Qdoba addiction on the weekends. I have found a new website though that I can talk about it and other things that I love and they don’t think I’m nuts.
In fact http://www.VacationRanking.com is looking for the very places that we love to frequent. But I think they are more about putting the mom and pop establishments on the map rather than big chains like Applebees because we all know that if you have been to one you have been to them all. It is a new place so they are trying to build up their list of places to go. I have been doing my best to work on the Wisconsin pages since that is where I live.
A: Fazoli’s has whole wheat pasta, decent tomato sauce and you can get a broccoli topping. Take away the garlic breadsticks, and while still a little high on the salt scale, it IS healthier than most.
Subway is always best. Whole wheat bread, veggies only, no sauces, 2 slices cheese.. mm…
A: You can actually get relatively healthy food at any fast food place. Try ordering burgers without cheese and mayo, or without the bun. Get a side salad with lite dressing instead of fries. Get diet drinks or water instead of regular soda. Eat grilled chicken sandwiches (ask for no mayo) instead of fried sandwiches.
A:
O yes they all do!!! Nothing like some delicious brown McLettuce Meal
Honey they are fast for a reason there is nothing healthy about them.
A: Actually, just about all restaurants have began to carry some kind of healthy products.
A:
You can eat healthy at Noodles and Company if you have them in your area.
A:
Try “Wendy’s or Chick-fil-la”. They offer grilled chicken sandwiches which are better than the fried and salty.

I would say Jimmy Johns. It’s really good plus they put lots of veggie in the subs/sandwiches.

First up, awesome post! I’ve got a little question bothering me, I really like the theme of your website and tried to download the same design on my Worpdress blog. Anyhow, there is some kind of weird coding error in the footer. Do you have any hints, which version are you using? Please PM me on Twitter @HealthyLivin or via e-mail.

Really nice post. Theoretically I could write something like this too, but taking the time and effort to make a good article is a lot of effort…but what can I say….I’m a procrastinater. Good read though.
